Biographical Sketch

I am currently an M.A. student in the Brain and Psychopathology Program at the University of Haifa School of Psychological Sciences. I was previously a B.S. student in Neuroscience and Computer Science at Bar Ilan University, after which I worked as a full-stack software developer in the high-tech industry.

I am interested in the neurophysiological mechanisms of mental states and processes, and in the translational utility of this knowledge to cultivate mental health and well-being. My M.A. thesis research is an academy-industry collaboration with Nyx using transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) neuromodulation to augment mindfulness meditation and enhance its salutary effects. I am also interested in the use of technology to increase accessibility and scalability of mindfulness in the larger population, including individuals that may benefit yet may struggle to establish and maintain the traditional meditative practices.
